it rained for about ten minutes when we were at Half Moon Lake then the sun broke through and intesified the color of the wet trees.

Bluff above Lake Superior called "cabin in the sky" - you will go off the GPS and across some interesting obstacles to reach this incredible place. There is a one-room shack with an outhouse that sits top this bluff. No...no shot of the cabin. Sorry!

Storm approaching in the background hit about an hour later with wind and snow. The snow abated after a half hour and did not stick around.
Au Train Falls, Hiawatha National Forest - the storm cleared the atmosphere and the crystal light came through on a decidedly chillier afternoon.
